Clipper StudioClipper StudioClipper Studio ("the Application") is a self-hosted software tool operated privately by an individual creator to schedule and publish their own content to their own social media accounts. This policy explains what data the Application handles and how.
When the operator connects a TikTok account through TikTok's official OAuth flow (Login Kit), the Application accesses only the data covered by the authorized scopes:
user.info.basic — open id, display name,
avatar) — to confirm which account is connected.video.upload,
video.publish) — to upload videos and create drafts or publish posts on
the connected account, at the operator's direction.The Application does not collect data from third parties and is not offered to the general public — it is a single-operator, self-hosted tool.
Account data is used solely to operate the publishing features: identifying the connected account and uploading or publishing the operator's own content to it. Data is never sold, rented, or used for advertising or profiling.
The Application runs on the operator's own infrastructure. Authentication tokens are stored in the operator's self-hosted database. Video media is stored in the operator's private object storage and served over HTTPS only so the connected platform can retrieve it for publishing.
The only third party that receives data is the social platform the operator is posting to (e.g., TikTok), via its official API, and only the content and metadata required to complete the post the operator initiated. No other sharing occurs.
Tokens and content remain only as long as needed to operate the tool. The operator can disconnect an account at any time, which revokes the Application's access, and can delete stored media and tokens from their own infrastructure.
As a self-hosted, single-operator tool, the operator has full control over all stored data and can access, export, or delete it directly. To revoke the Application's access to a TikTok account, the operator can disconnect it in the app or remove the authorization from their TikTok account settings.
