What it does
Clipper Studio turns longer recordings into short vertical clips, lets the operator write a caption and choose visibility, and then uploads or schedules each clip to the operator's connected accounts. It is a personal, first-party publishing tool — it is not a public service and does not host or display other people's content.
Connect
The operator connects their own TikTok account once, via TikTok's official Login Kit (OAuth). No passwords are ever handled by Clipper Studio.
Prepare
Clips are reviewed, captioned, and have their privacy level set before anything is sent — the operator always sees the post before it goes out.
Publish
Approved clips are published to the operator's own TikTok profile through the Content Posting API, either directly or saved as a draft.
Schedule
Posts can be queued for a chosen date and time so the operator keeps a consistent cadence without posting manually each time.
How Clipper Studio uses TikTok
Clipper Studio integrates with TikTok for Developers using only the products and scopes required to publish the operator's own content:
- Login Kit —
user.info.basic: reads the connected account's open id, display name and avatar, only to confirm which account is linked. - Content Posting API —
video.upload: sends a clip to the account as a draft the operator can finish and post. - Content Posting API —
video.publish: publishes a reviewed clip directly to the operator's own TikTok profile.
Clipper Studio acts solely on behalf of the authenticated operator and only with the account they own and explicitly authorized.
Your data
Clipper Studio runs on the operator's own infrastructure. It accesses only the data covered by the scopes above, never sells or shares data for advertising, and the only third party that receives content is the platform the operator is posting to, via its official API. See the Privacy Policy for details.
